February 2008 (Sweet God story... Ask me about it.)
The best housemate, ever... Jill. Oh, and there's this cat that's trying to move out... Any takers?!
The past few years have been a mezcla of these: leaving NY to study @ TCU, studying in Spain, becoming a Social Worker in London, moving from Fort Worth to New York and back again (quite a few times), playing (and sometimes working as the Retreat Coordinator) at a YMCA camp, and teaching dance and creative drama to some of the best kids in the world.
Carmel, NY (It's claim to fame: being 50 minutes from "The City")
I remember saying to a friend of mine, "I think that's the best compliment anyone has ever given me," but ironically, I can't remember what that compliment was.
Traveling from Spain to Croatia (and back) with my sister, specifically the canyoning part... Those were some sweet days. And, these past few years with Jesus have been a blast.
A life without risks is a mediocre one lived with many regrets.
Learning to worship Jesus in EVERYTHING I do.
Auditioned to be the girl in Madonna's "Papa Don't Preach" music video. (Apparently, I wasn't "Madonna" material.)
Favorites
God Calling, Anonymous (Not really a "book", but it has a binding and it's changed my life.) The Pursuit of God, A.W. Tozer
It's a tie between fresh, home-made guacamole and cream cheese drizzled with that raspberry chipotle craziness. (I could probably alternate between the two for the rest of my life and not fancy eating anything else, ever.)
Not really sure.
Lately, it's been anything with a sweet electric guitar riff, but I'm a sucker for late 50's-early 60's music (I'd live in that era if I could) and any type of good eclectic/indie rock that has it's own sound and proves the musician's musical versatility.
9 pm... Its early enough in the evening for me to be excited about how much more time I have left in the day to get things done, and late enough for the night person in me to become energized. It's when the party starts.
Summer in NY and Fall time in TX
Anytime: On a boat in the lake. In the morning: my bedroom. In nature (when there is no lake): atop a mountain looking at the view. When it's cold outside: next to a fireplace. Anywhere... As long as I can see the sky. (Unless I've just woken up... That's when I like to pray in my room.)
Rock climbing, dancing, wake-boarding, skiing, biking (but don't be fooled, I don't get on my bike as much as I probably need to in order to put this as an answer), and anything that involves outside + fun
Because Your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise You.
Volleyball to play, Baseball to watch
